After joining TalentBox, I made a conscious effort to immerse myself in the market I am recruiting in. It became very clear to me how much of a positive impact software companies are making in the world today. We work with security companies that help employees to work from home securely and quickly. Companies helping the remote workforce collaborate together, online and anywhere to help accelerate their growth as well as vendors helping brands to have better relationships with their customers through social media.
When you look further into it, you begin to realise how much of an impact the sales people and sales leaders within these companies have on driving their name across the world. These are some of the most intelligent, inspirational and driven people that you could possibly have the pleasure of meeting and working with. They are at the forefront of Enterprise Software and, in my opinion, are some of the most impactful people in the world we live in. My job is to help these companies hire these people.
I recently did a LinkedIn post about honesty and how recruitment gets a bad name because recruiters are often chasing a fee trying to place any candidate in any role. For me, money is not a main driver, success is. Recruitment and the sectors I work across has developed into a passion of mine, so I make sure to put time and effort into finding the right person for the right role for both the client and candidate. If I do this well, then I will be making a positive impact on my candidates life, whilst simultaneously contributing to the success of my client.
