Amplitude were in serious growth mode, following a successful Series E funding round. This took them into emerging markets such as Germany, which was a huge priority for market expansion in EMEA. Traditionally, Germany can be a difficult market to expand and recruit in for US-founded Software Vendors, for various reasons; but mostly down to requiring an recruitment expertise for building teams in Germany for US Software Vendors. We were tasked with conducting an end-to-end search, which required a lot of prospective employee brand building and taking the Amplitude name to the candidate market. This resulted in a comprehensive process, and eventual hiring of a top-performing SC in the region, supporting their efforts towards an IPO.
