First Solutions Consulting hire on the ground in Germany, covering the DACH market.
Amplitude were in serious growth mode, following a successful Series E funding round. This took them into emerging markets such as Germany, which was a huge priority for market expansion in EMEA. Traditionally, Germany can be a difficult market to expand and recruit in for US-founded Software Vendors, for various reasons; but mostly down to requiring an recruitment expertise for building teams in Germany for US Software Vendors. We were tasked with conducting an end-to-end search, which required a lot of prospective employee brand building and taking the Amplitude name to the candidate market. This resulted in a comprehensive process, and eventual hiring of a top-performing SC in the region, supporting their efforts towards an IPO.
Cian was great to work with in my recent career move! First of all, he found me through so many people on LinkedIn and then sparked my interest in a new role with a great first Intro contact message. In our first talks I noticed very quickly that he was serious about the jobs he proposed to me and not fluffing around with anything that is promised but in the end would not hold up to be true.
During the process he was always very open, checking back on any milestone such as specific Interviews, etc with me, how they went, what my feeling was and so on. When it came to the final stages he was very eager to get my ideas through.
All in all, I had a great experience working with Cian and would always do it again when it is time for another career move, I can be nothing but thankful to him of the opportunity he has provided me.
